GLHV doesn't have a protocol for recommending individual doctors or counsellors and directs you to the ALSO directory online which has some gay friendly services, or the ASHM directory which lists doctors who have trained in the area of HIV and sexual health, but not necessarily on gay and lesbian health.

You can also contact the Australian Lesbian Medical Association (ALMA) who can help locate a lesbian friendly medical professional www.alma.net.au

There are of course many other local doctors, counsellors and health services who are great, so shop around.
