Nominations for the 2009 Diversity@Work Awards are now officially open and GLHV is encouraging anyone whose workplace has taken steps to make it a gay friendly one to think about applying. Acceptance, support and celebration of the contribution of GLBT workers can go along way to improving the health of our communities. Anne Mitchell is a judge on the GLBT panel for these awards and this is a new category in its second year in 2009. We want to make sure it remains in the mix setting the benchmark ever higher for good practice in all workplaces.
