New gender identity policy is available through the Victorian Government Schools Reference Guide. The two specific areas of gender identity the policy covers are transgender and intersex. The policy covers a range of areas including management of privacy and change in school culture, toilet facilities, use of preferred name, the provision of student support and the duty of care to others.
