The Needs of Older Gay, Lesbian and Transgender People

This report is about the needs of gay, lesbian and transgender people aged 50 or older. It is based on interviews with 26 gay men, 21 lesbians and five transgender people.

Glossary

Lesbian

A woman whose primary emotional and sexual attraction is for other women. The term is often used to designate women who identify as same-sex attracted as opposed to women who have sex with other women but who do not self-identify as lesbian.
